Born in 1969 in Huaibei City, Anhui Province.

In 1990, he graduated from the Fine Arts College of Huaibei Normal University.

In 1990, he went to the Yongle Palace in Yucheng, Shanxi Province to study murals.

In 1991, Huaibei City, Anhui Province held a solo exhibition, which shifted from freelance characters and landscape paintings to artistic creations based on traditional meticulous mural paintings.

In 1993, he went to the Yongle Palace in Yucheng, Shanxi Province to inspect Linyi's works. He and Mr. Fan Jinxi, the director of the Yongle Palace Institute, discussed the traditional method of painting and painting, and participated in the mural painting work of the mural research room.

In 1994, he went to Linyi murals at Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang.

In 1995, the National Art Museum of Beijing held a exhibition of Dong Kewen Yongle Palace, Dunhuang and Fahai Temple Linyi.

In 2013, the album "Dong Kewen Lin Fu Dunhuang Yongle Palace Works" was compiled into a book by the Institute of Mural Paintings of Yongle Palace, Yucheng, Shanxi.

In 2014, he self-driving to investigate the art of Tibetan Buddhist Thangka and murals in Qinghai and Tibet.
